Where we came from

From her experiences of raising a child, single, and at a very young age, she felt God place a passion to help others overcome the difficulties young single mothers face. God gave her the passion and gifts to help them, not only overcome, but to be an over-achiever and have success in life.

Where we are

Now, 40 years later, her dream and vision is now a reality. The mission of SLH is to give young mothers an alternative to abortion and giving up, place them in a home, teach them, place them in their own home, and partner with them for life. 

We are now in full operation and fullfilling this desire God placed in Patti's heart.

Where we are going

Our Vision is to have offices and homes across the country.  We want to partner with like-minded people with the same passion and desire to put homes in cities across the nation and become advocates for single mothers.  Would you like to help?  Contact us and let's talk.  You can also donate or partner with us.  Thank you for your prayers.
